Terms of Service for TULearn

TULearn is an online learning and examination platform used by William V. S. Tubman University to support student learning, placement examinations, assessment, and academic administration.

By accessing or using TULearn, users agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of the Platform

TULearn is provided for educational and administrative purposes, including online learning, placement examinations, course activities, assessment, grading, academic reporting, and communication between authorized users.

2. Authorized Use

Users may access TULearn only for legitimate academic, teaching, administrative, or technical purposes.

Users must not:

• Use another person's account;
• Share login credentials with others;
• Access restricted areas without authorization;
• Interfere with the platform's operation;
• Upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content;
• Manipulate examination results or academic records.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for keeping their login information secure. If users suspect unauthorized access to their account, they should immediately inform the TULearn administrator or the relevant university authority.

4. Examinations and Academic Integrity

Users taking examinations on TULearn must follow all applicable university rules on academic integrity. Cheating, impersonation, unauthorized collaboration, or attempts to manipulate results may lead to disciplinary action according to university policy.

5. Platform Availability

TULearn is provided on a best-effort basis. The university may update, suspend, or restrict access to the platform for maintenance, security, administrative, or technical reasons.

6. Data and Records

TULearn may store academic and platform activity records, including examination attempts, grades, course participation, and login activity. These records may be used by authorized university staff for academic, administrative, technical, security, or legal purposes.

7. Third-Party Authentication

TULearn may allow users to sign in using Google OAuth or other approved authentication services. When users sign in through Google, TULearn uses basic account information only for authentication and account identification, as described in the TULearn Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Course materials, examination content, platform content, and institutional documents made available through TULearn remain the property of their respective owners. Users may not copy, distribute, publish, or reuse such materials without proper authorization.

9. Limitation of Liability

TULearn is provided to support university activities. The university is not responsible for service interruptions, loss of data, or user misuse of the platform, except where required by applicable law or university policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated when necessary. Continued use of TULearn after changes are published means that users accept the updated terms.
